TEENAGER war das Musikprojekt von Nick Littlemore und Phillipa ''Pip'' Brown, aka Ladyhawk. Das Debutalbum ''Thirteen'' wurde 2006 veröffentlicht. Der Song ''Pony'' daraus war der Soundtrack zum Videospiel ''Grand Theft Auto IV'', kurz GTA IV.

Zur Sonnenfinsternis von 1999 zeigte sich die Band in einem speziellen Live-Auftritt in schwarz/weiß. Im Video werden die Songs ''Breakdown'' und ''Swordfish Hotkiss Night'' gespielt. Ebenfalls ist im Video Lukes Frau Jodie zu sehen. Sie hält dieses komische Schlangenteil da und am Ende dieses Telefon. Auch Schwertfisch Figuren sind hier zu sehen.

Eigentlich haben sich EOTS ja bereits 2008 getrennt, weil Nick Littlemore einfach damals verschwunden ist und nie wieder auftauchte. Seitdem tourt Luke allein durch die Welt. Angeblich soll ein neues Album bereits in Planung sein.
Luke sagte auch, dass es verdammt schwer ist, mit Nick zusammenzuarbeiten.

Luke James Steele, geboren am 13 Dez. 1979 in Perth, West Australien, ist der Sänger des Musikduos ''Empire of the Sun'' und seinem Nebenprojekt ''The Sleepy Jackson''. Zusammen mit Nick Littlemore gründete er EOTS in Australien. Steele entstammt einer musikalischen Familie.
Sein Vater Rick ist Blues Gitarrist und Harmonika-Spieler, seine Schwester Katy ist Sängerin der australischen Band ''Little Birdy'' und sein Bruder Jake ist Keyboarder bei der australischen Band ''Injured Ninja''. Zuvor spielte er auch in ''Sleepy Jackson'' mit.

Privat ist Luke mit seiner Frau Jodie Steele zusammen und hat eine Tochter, Sunny Steele.

In EOTS nennt er sich: Emperor Steele

Empire of the Sun ist ein australisches Musikprojekt der beiden Sänger Luke Steele und Nick Littlemore. Ihr Name leitet sich von der Sonne ab, die als wichtigste Energiequelle im ganzen Sonnensytem steht. Bereits 2008 veröffentlichten sie ihr Debutalbum: Walking On A Dream, dass auf Anhieb Platz 1 erreichte.
